Lync Server 2013 offers many features to enhance collaboration and communication in your organization. Many of these features are new compared to what was available in previous versions. The topics in this section give a brief overview of the new capabilities.
You can install Lync on your Windows computer, mobile device, or Macintosh.
Install Lync on your Windows computer
First make sure Lync isn’t already installed.
If Lync isn't installed:
Sign in to Office 365 with your work or school account.
Go to Settings > Office 365 Settings.
Choose Software > Lync.
Keep in mind:
- Lync may already be installed on your computer as part of Office 365.
- If Lync isn’t listed, contact your workplace technical support to make sure your account includes the Lync Online service.
